(1) Personal
Lines Customer Service Broker
We seek a
conscientious minded personal insurance professional to service
and sell personal lines insurance solutions to existing HIBL customers
in a fast paced fully automated office environment. Duties and
Responsibilities: Reporting to our Personal Lines Manager you
will:
Provide timely professional customer service at all times
Cross-sell and up-sell automobile and property insurance to
clients
Assess risks, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare
documentation
Process renewals, endorsements, quote and write new business
Respond to clients inquiries
Maintain accurate up to date files
Answer incoming calls in a timely manner
Electronic interfacing with various insurers, including applications
for new business, endorsements and renewals
Monitor insurance claims activity
Ensure adherence to all corporate guidelines and mandates including
proper rating strategy, coverages and makes use of insurance markets.
Participate in various projects as needed. Assume leadership
in some cases.
REQUIREMENTS:
- RIBO License
- 3+ years experience in personal
lines sales and service
- Ability to work independently,
take initiative and pay impeccable attention to detail and deadlines.
- Outstanding communications
skills.
- Ability to work with and fully
utilize the Agency Manager system (TAM 9.1)
- Ability to work with and fully
utilize Compu-quote
- Remuneration is based on a
salary
- Start date: immediate.

Lines Underwriter/Broker
We seek a conscientious minded Personal Lines broker/underwriters
who under technical direction, underwrites and analyzes new and
renewal business. Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to our Personal
Lines Supervisor you will:
- Underwrite new business, renewals
and endorsements according to company guidelines and authority
limits. Refer files to Vice President along with summary and
recommended course of action for those accounts outside delegated
underwriting authority and exceptions to guidelines.
- Administers and monitors underwriting
rules and guidelines.
- Assists in developing, enhancing
and maintaining underwriting methods and techniques, which achieve
underwriting integrity in a cost-effective manner.
- Works independently and makes
decisions on individual risk selection and acceptance.
- Underwrites according to various
Insurance Company rates for new, renewals & endorsements.
- Manage the portfolio for target
and non-target business.
- Define and implement essential
initiatives relating to customer needs.
