Report a Claim
If you have would like to report a claim, please call 905-886-5630
or 1-800-567-1279 (8:30 am
to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday) or provide as much information
as possible in the form below.
24 Hour Claims Emergency
Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. If it
is outside of regular business hours and you need to report a
claim immediately, please find the 24 hour toll free number of
your insurance company in the list below.
If it is after business hours or a holiday, you can contact your insurance company's claims hotline for emergency service, however, again we strongly recommend you speak to a broker before contacting the company directly.

If your company is not listed above, please check your policy documents for claims reporting info.
A representative from the company will answer the call directly
and walk you through the claims process which involves asking
you questions as well as answering any questions that you may
have for them.
If you have been involved in an automobile accident (see below
for instructions), your insurer can arrange and pay for a taxi
that will you safely to your destination.
What to do if YOU are involved in an Automobile Accident

If
the vehicles are driveable and it is safe to do so, move them
safely out of traffic. |

You
must call the police if any of the following occur: |

there are injuries,
- the damage exceeds $1000, or
- you are in doubt as to what you should do. |

Complete
an accident report form |
| |

| 4 |
Report
the claim as soon as possible to your insurance company (see
table above for after hour numbers). |

In certain urban areas such as Toronto, the police may ask
you to attend a Collision Reporting Centre instead of attending
the scene of the accident. If so, bring your drivers license,
ownership and insurance documentation with you as well as
the details about the other driver(s) and any witnesses. |
If
your vehicle is not driveable:
- Safeguard
any valuable by locking the doors to the vehicle.
- Call
us first. We can help you arrange for towing and safe storage
of your vehicle while you take time to collect your thoughts
and make an informed choice on repairs.
If
your vehicle is damaged:
- A
Holman Insurance Broker representative, or your Insurance Company
adjuster can assist you in finding a reputable repair firm.
- If
you choose to have the work done at an Insurance Company Approved
and Authorized Auto Repair Centre, they will guarantee the repair
for as long as you own the car and are insured with us!
